DAY #35

Over a month now I have been enjoying life “two-handed”.  This has been a wild ride and journey from the very first day.  Everyday I am trying something new with the i-LIMB, seeing how it will work in certain situations.

In this journey I am coming into contact with a lot of awesome people.  I wanted to give a shout out to a brand new friend Haylee on this Day #35 post.  Haylee was born with small nubs on her left hand. These nubs were formed as a result of condition known as Amniotic Band Syndrome which is the same thing the doctors believe happened to me when I was born.  Haylee is so cool and I thought it would be really neat to send everybody to check out her story and what she is doing to overcome the hand she was dealt.  You can go visit Haylee at littlehandbigheart.com

Today we did some painting prep at the church getting it ready for our Easter services.  I had some fun with the i-limb while we were there.

While I was at the church today I thought I would do some practicing on holding the microphone.  I am getting close to getting it down – it may take me a while but I will have it!

  1. Hi, it is Haylee again. I like the painting one. Where you said, “use the bionics”.

    Thanks for the shout out.
